Creative Media’s Quote Smartener:
Proper typographers’ quotes/apostrophes look so much more professional than simple ' and ". But when you’re hand-coding html, typing in ’ every time you want an apostrophe is irritating, and innevitably leads to mistake&rsquos (sic). So Paddy of Creative Media has written this Quote Smartener:
Write your html using normal " and ' marks, then paste it into the box below (make sure you only use double quote marks in the html markup itself, eg
<p class="bodytext">, not
<p class='bodytext'>, and click the Smarten Quotes button to get pastable HTML with curly (or “smart”) typographers’ quote marks.
